With locations in Danielson, Willimantic and Montville, the American Job Centers (AJCs) of Eastern CT provide employment assistance to job seekers. Assistance includes employment and career guidance; local labor market review; job search information; potential training funding for eligible applicants pursuing Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program services; an ongoing connection to employer recruitment opportunities; on-the-job training opportunities and more. Workforce professionals are available to assist in planning career pathways and provide guidance on actionable steps towards a new or improved employment opportunity.

Benefits: Job seekers obtain access to services, than can include applying for training funding, that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their career pursuits. These services are offered independently as selected by the job seeker or in conjunction with a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Workforce Advisor, who guides eligible participants through the development of an action plan in pursuit of their goal.
